Toad River, British Columbia

Now riding the Alaska Hwy. Its so much easier being here than getting here. I am now in my comfort zone and really glad I came. It’s a very good road, with little traffic, other than several dozen motorcycles you see coming and going to Alaska. Rode only 390 miles today so started late and finished early. Perfect.
The weather was very nice except for a little light rain the last hour, unfortunately rain is in the forecast and was just told they are chip-sealing about 15 miles of road up ahead. Bummer.
Animal count today is 6 black bear, six mountain sheep, with babies, one deer, and the dozen or so elk in the meadow outside my window, this B&B located in Toad River, is about 5 miles down a gravel road looking up on Stone Mountain. Beautiful.
Another 4+ hours tomorrow to Johnson Crossing Yukon and the next day Alaska.
